Artificial intelligence is starting to show itself in every field today

The researchers achieved an accuracy of up to 97%. Researchers at the University of Central Florida aim to make new drug discoveries thanks to the artificial intelligence-based drug development system they have developed. Turkish author Özlem Özmen Garibay, an assistant professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems, explained as follows. “As AI has become more accessible, this has become something that AI can handle.”

Made possible thanks to COVID

According to fellow co-author Sudipta Seala, this high-impact research was only possible thanks to interdisciplinary collaboration between materials engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, and computer scientists addressing COVID-related discoveries.
